A mental health website must establish trust quickly, communicate professional credibility, and feel approachable to people who may already be uncertain about seeking support.
Anima Bulgaria, a mental health practice founded by a clinical psychologist, approached EVLabs after its existing website failed to reflect the warmth and character of the brand. Although the practice offered one-on-one therapy, a guided self-help application, corporate wellness programmes, and professional training, the site felt generic and overly clinical.
EVLabs helped define a clearer visual direction, rebuilt the website, and protected the search visibility already earned through existing service pages and educational content.
The result was a complete brand-aligned redesign delivered in approximately two weeks, supported by modern AWS infrastructure and launched without disrupting the website’s established search presence.
Anima Bulgaria’s existing website had been produced by a previous provider, but the final experience did not match the organisation behind it.
For a mental health practice, this was more than a visual issue. The site was often the first point of contact for people exploring therapy, self-guided support, corporate wellness services, or professional training. It needed to feel credible, warm, and reassuring.
The client knew the website was not working, but needed help turning that dissatisfaction into clear standards for tone, imagery, and presentation.
The practice had already built an online presence through indexed service pages and blog content. A poorly managed rebuild could have broken URLs, links, and search rankings.
Operators lacked advanced dashboards and analytics to monitor player activity, manage betting operations, and make data-driven decisions.
The previous hosting setup relied on a manually maintained server, creating recurring costs, maintenance work, and an additional point of failure.
The contact form needed to be rebuilt on secure, reliable infrastructure suited to the new architecture.
The redesigned website gives Anima Bulgaria a digital presence that is much closer to the experience the practice wants to create for its audience.
The new experience combines:
Visitors can still reach existing service pages and blog articles through their established web addresses, preserving both usability and discoverability.
EVLabs combined brand consulting, frontend development, content migration, SEO protection, and cloud infrastructure setup into a focused end-to-end engagement
The project began with direct consultation to identify why the previous website did not feel representative of the practice.
The client’s feedback was translated into practical standards for tone, imagery, warmth, accessibility, and professional credibility. These principles guided the full redesign.
The website was rebuilt from the ground up using Angular and TypeScript.
This allowed the frontend to follow the new brand direction without being constrained by the structure or design choices of the previous implementation.
Existing service pages, blog articles, and images were migrated while preserving their established web addresses where required.
Redirects were added for retired or restructured pages, allowing visitors and search engines to continue reaching the correct content.
This protected the online authority Anima Bulgaria had already built.
The website was moved to AWS using:
The new architecture removed the need to maintain a traditional web server and reduced ongoing infrastructure management.
S3 and CloudFront supported frontend delivery, while Lambda, API Gateway, and SES powered the contact functionality.
The contact form was rebuilt using AWS Lambda and API Gateway, with Amazon SES handling email delivery.
This separated the form from the previous server and provided a more reliable foundation for an important user journey.
Bitbucket CI/CD standardised the release process and reduced reliance on manual deployment steps.
EVLabs followed a focused three-phase process designed to move quickly without overlooking the brand, migration, and infrastructure risks involved in the redesign
We worked with Anima Bulgaria to identify why the existing website felt disconnected from the practice. The findings were converted into clear design principles balancing professional authority with warmth and accessibility.
The website was rebuilt using Angular and TypeScript, while existing blog content and images were transferred into the new implementation. Migration planning ran alongside development so important URLs could be retained and search visibility protected.
The final phase covered AWS setup, redirects, contact form implementation, and launch validation. Before sign-off, the client reviewed: visual and brand alignment; existing page and blog URLs; redirect behaviour; search visibility; contact form operation.
A step-by-step overview of the key milestones, challenges, and progress throughout the project.
The client’s feedback was translated into clear standards for tone, imagery, warmth, and professional credibility.
The new Angular frontend was developed around the updated brand direction, while blog content, images, and key URLs were migrated.
The final stage included AWS infrastructure configuration, deployment automation, contact form implementation, and redirect setup.
The website was then validated with the client, including checks covering design, existing URLs, redirects, search continuity, and form functionality.
